Christmas time used to be my favorite time of year. I always got into the holiday spirit more than anyone else I knew. Every year, I spent hours decorating my house with brilliant lights and decorations and our house was the favorite on the block by far. I was also the token Santa Claus every year at the local mall. The children loved me and got a kick out of my very large belly. Last Christmas was a very different experience for me, however. Yes, even being a great big and older man, we still have the same fears that some children had.
